This document outlines all the 94 calls to action brought forward by the Truth and Reconciliation Committee to the Canadian government. They are meant to acknowledge all the horrors, and abuses that happened at residential schools, and what can be done to prevent that history from being repeated and attempt to help reconcile the damage that has been forced upon Indigenous communities. There are two distinct categories that the calls to action can fall into, legacy and reconciliation, with each having subcategories. They acknowledge the intergenerational trauma that has been created due to the residential schools and propose ways the government can enact changes in policy to address the past and lead to healing in the future.
